Membership FAQs
Is my category already taken?
No. The Deal Flow Network® uses an open-category model by design. There are no category lockouts, so you do not have to wait for a specific industry seat to become available. The goal is to bring more potential partners into the room and create opportunities for collaboration across industries.
Can I cancel my membership?
Membership cancellation is subject to the current membership terms. If you have questions about your membership or need to discuss cancellation, contact The Deal Flow Network® and our team can help you understand the applicable terms.

How often does The Deal Flow Network® meet, and where do meetings take place?
The Deal Flow Network® brings members together at several levels. Industry chapters meet monthly, each silo has a quarterly event, and the full network comes together at least once a year. Members may participate in events across both the business-serving and consumer-serving sides of the network.
What happens if I miss an event?
There are no rigid attendance penalties at The Deal Flow Network®. We understand that business owners have competing priorities. If you cannot attend an event, you can stay connected through the broader DFN community and upcoming events.

What should I expect during my first 90 days?
Your first 90 days are about getting connected, learning how DFN works, and becoming an active part of the community. You can expect opportunities to participate in DFN events, connect with other members, build relationships across industries, and take advantage of the benefits included with your membership tier.

How is The Deal Flow Network® different from BNI?
The Deal Flow Network® is a business growth group, not a traditional referral-focused networking group. DFN brings entrepreneurs and professionals together to sharpen the businesses in the room, create opportunities, and support growth.
There is also no category exclusivity. Referrals and deal flow can happen naturally through the relationships built within the community, but they are a byproduct of the broader experience rather than the sole purpose of membership.
